Catalytic heaters are the heat source for almost all Catco products including Heated Enclosure Packages and Instrument Gas Heaters. Or they can be used as a standalone unit for space heating applications ranging in size from small instrumentation cabinets to large compressor buildings.

Catco Heated Enclosure Packages are the most popular and usually most effective way to prevent freezing in regulators, valves, chokes, and other equipment. A stainless steel enclosure mounts around the equipment and positions a catalytic heater to direct infrared heat at the body.

Catco Instrument Gas Heaters use a catalytic heater to direct infrared heat at a stainless steel heat exchange tube inside an enclosure. The infrared heat warms the tube, which in turn warms the gas, air, or other fluid that is flowing through it.

The Catco Instrument Gas Heater is commonly used to preheat instrument gas or instrument air streams for pilot operated regulators, valves, and other equipment.

Catco Pipeline Packs position one, two, or four catalytic heaters directly adjacent to a pipe to raise the temperature of what’s flowing through it. They’re commonly placed upstream of valves, regulators, chokes, and other equipment to prevent freezing. Pipeline Packs install onto an existing pipe, making them easy to use and highly versatile.

CXE Electric Heaters Catco CXE explosion-proof electric heaters utilize a high-quality immersion heater along with a high-performance fan and motor assembly. Liquid-to-air heat-exchanger cores use rugged carbon-steel tubes with copper-free, roll-formed aluminum fins to maximize heat transfer and carbon-steel headers for maximum durability and longer life.
