Gas over oil actuator.

GO range actuators use pipeline gas as their motive power source. The pipeline gas is delivered to oil tanks that convert it into hydraulic pressure which is then used to drive the scotch yoke quarter-turn or linear actuator. Using pressurised oil provides powerful and smooth actuator control and isolates the cylinder from pipeline gas contaminants that can cause corrosion and seal deterioration. GO actuators are designed for long service life and reliable operation in harsh and remote environments. Optional extras include lockable high-pressure ball valve to provide system isolation during maintenance, local/remote selector and line break detection safety systems.

GO actuators are designed to use pipeline gas as the motive power source. Gas is delivered to oil tanks that convert it into hydraulic pressure without the gas entering the hydraulic cylinder. This pressurized hydraulic oil is used to drive our industry recognized scotch yoke quarter-turn or linear actuators.

High pressure gas actuator.

HPG actuators are designed to use pipeline gas as the motive power source. Using our industry recognized and proven hydraulic scotch-yoke quarter-turn design, the HPG is a direct gas actuator customizable to end-user specifications. Our actuators are complemented with a variety of Rotork designed and manufactured high-pressure gas controls.

HPG range direct high-pressure gas actuators use pipeline gas as the motive power source. These highly reliable scotch yoke quarter-turn actuators, available with either symmetric or canted yoke designs, are field-proven globally across a wide range of fluid power applications. Standard manual override uses an independent hydraulic cylinder which ensures separation of the hydraulic fluid from the pipeline gas and allows replacement of power cylinder seals without removing the actuator from the valve. An extensive range of options includes Rotork-designed high-pressure gas controls, pressure sensing valves and line break detection safety systems.

Pneumatic and hydraulic actuators for quarter-turn valves.

GP (pneumatic) and GH (hydraulic) range scotch yoke actuators are designed to provide a rotary, quarter-turn movement for either on/off or modulating duty. The rugged yet compact design is available with two different yoke designs. The classic symmetric yoke delivers peak torque at both ends of stroke. Alternatively, they can be supplied with canted torque arms designed to deliver peak torque at only one end of stroke. Use of canted arms can often reduce actuator size, weight and cost for valves with appropriate torque demand characteristics.

GP/GH range scotch yoke actuators are designed to operate ball, butterfly and plug valves requiring a rotary, quarter-turn movement for either on/off or modulating duty and can be supplied with symmetrical or canted torque arms. The robust design has been proven in thousands of diverse applications the world over.

CP range pneumatic actuators for quarter-turn valves are a versatile, modular, scotch yoke design available in both double-acting and spring-return configurations. The compact and efficient design yields high torques even at low pressures. The design concepts found in Rotork’s large, heavy-duty actuators have been applied to the CP range, which brings heavy-duty actuator qualities to small, quarter-turn actuators.

Rack and pinion actuator.

GT range single- and double-acting pneumatic piston actuators (rack and pinion) for rotary valve control. The unique and compact design allows configuration change from single-acting to double-acting, even in the field. GT actuators provide a wide range of torque outputs in different body sizes. Standard 90 degrees action with optional 120, 180, 240 degrees or custom angles. All models incorporate an anti-blowout design and are available with an extensive list of options to optimize the actuator for particular applications.

The K-TORK vane actuator is a true rotary actuator that does not require the conversion of linear to rotary motion. The actuator is a very simple, highly accurate, and reliable quarter-turn/rotary actuator.

Low/high pressure selector relay.

Model 90 Low Pressure Selector Relay is designed to select the lower of two signal pressures to provide a continuous output pressure to a control device. The Model 90 is recommended for dead end or low flow service in critical applications such as control loops requiring precise, automatic monitoring of signal pressures.

Model 91 High Pressure Selector Relay is designed to select the higher of two signal pressures, and to provide a continuous output pressure (or pressure range) to a controller. The ability to precisely control pressure switching and pressure monitoring functions make the Model 91 the logical choice in dead end or low flow applications such as precision control loops.
